Aidan Kaplan­-Wright was born in Ithaca, New York and received his BFA in May 2019 from the School of Art and Design at the New York State College of Ceramics Alfred University. Drawing since the age of three, attending NYSSSA School of Visual Arts, and studying abroad at Studio Arts College International (SACI), in Florence, Italy, he has developed skills within the mediums of painting, printmaking, drawing and video.

Aidan has had multiple group exhibitions in upstate New York and two separate group exhibitions in Florence, Italy and Jilin, China. His work was published in the summer of 2017 by an independent printing company Two Fold based in Buffalo, New York. As he currently resides in Ithaca, New York honing in on his craft, Aidan plans to continue his practice wherever it takes him.
